Crybaby

Detail of painting I did last night. Full image below - 24"x 30".

Felt moody last night and so transferred my energy to painting. The canvas is "recycled" by stretching, glueing and stapling fabric onto an used/old canvas frame. The branches are part of the fabric pattern from Ikea. Used acrylic, acrylic ink, charcoal. Took about 4 hours. Not 100% sure the painting works, but I did feel better after.

hello sansan! wow..i think the gal looks really sad.. but heng no tears on her face, coz it feels like she is ok coz her friend is there with her... her hair looks like it belongs to the guy, but heng got ur trademark outline so can differiate(how to spell?).. feels a bit mtv clip style dont know why.. anyways, that's the power of creating art! it let us pour out our emotions/feeling and then makes us alright again.. and u never know how ur works can affect and touch others!~

Thanks for your comments! I didn;t plan when I was doing this, just picked up the brush and kept going. Made a lot of "heng" decisions, and got this far. I must work on happier pictures from here on! :)
