Girl with purple hair

Came across an acrylic painting I started 3 years ago when I was still in HK. Was in my purple phase (which means I start drafting a painting in purple and then use it liberally everywhere), and never completed the painting - just the face, the hair and body was left undone. Maybe I'll work on it again, but in the meantime, I like it enough to make it into my blog banner :)

Is a fun painting I did for my sister's room. The brief was "colourful splotches of colour please!". It's 36" x 48", acrylic on canvas - fun to do, easy on the brain if you know what I mean... Ready to hang I suppose, except the two of us haven't figured out how to, so it's sitting precariously on the back edge of my little wicker sofa.
